Title:Assistant Field Hockey Coach

Indiana University is looking for an Assistant Coach to help our team win in the Big Ten Conference.

Job summary: Assists with the overall supervision and organization of a nationally competitive field hockey program including on-field instruction, skill and tactical development of individual student-athletes and team, and prepares daily training sessions. Participates in on- and off-campus recruiting; prepares and presents video analysis; and oversees equipment/apparel orders and distribution. Coordinates with strength/conditioning and facility management and performs various other administrative duties assigned by the head coach in compliance with university, Big Ten Conference, and NCAA regulations.

Note: Position requires incumbent to comply fully with all NCAA, Big Ten (or other conference) and Indiana University rules, regulations, policies and procedures.

Required qualifications:
REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, social sciences, or other related field and one year of coaching experience.
Combinations of related education and experience may be considered.
Possess a valid driver’s license with the ability to be insured by Indiana University.
Possess a high level of experience as a player with knowledge of NCAA regulations. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills including ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of individuals. Must be highly motivated with a high level of tactical knowledge, organizational abilities and professionalism.

Preferred qualifications:
Coaching experience at the Division I; proficiency in the use of technology and experience using SportsCode video analysis.
