Cedar Crest College is seeking a Head Field Hockey Coach who will also serve as the College’s Recruiting Coordinator. The coach will develop, recruit and administer a competitive women’s field hockey program consistent with the student-athlete philosophy of NCAA Division III athletics. Coaches are also expected to develop, coordinate and manage an active recruitment and retention program for field hockey student athletes.
The Recruiting Coordinator monitors recruiting efforts of the athletic department and serves as the direct liaison with the Office of Admissions. Activities such as overnight visits and traditional visits are coordinated through this position as is athletics staff representation at all admissions day events on campus including Junior Preview Days, Open Houses and orientations.
A Bachelor's degree and prior experience coaching field hockey at the college level is required. Candidates must also have demonstrated success at effectively recruiting and retaining student-athletes.Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills are essential. CPR, First Aid and AED certifications are also required.
